Why 2 cats is better

We've all heard that cats are solitary animals. In reality, they are sociable animals, who needs companion to evolve well in your family unit.

Hence the idea that 2 cats is better! A lonely cat will often tend to engage in more destructive behaviors.

• Chewing on electrical wires
• Biting fiercely
• Attacking your lower limbs
• Playing aggressively
• Nighttime activities
• Climb in your curtains
• Shred your toilet paper

So, to avoid all this unnecessary stress, adopt 2 cats or 1 dog and a cat. Preferably 2 from the same litter, cats raised together will have a greater attachment bond with each other.

       The changes of environment, especially the 1st is the most worrying event of his life, as well as the introduction of a newcomer, such as another cat or dog. So, by adopting 2 from the same litter (whether it's 2 brothers, 2 sisters or 1 brother and 1 sister), you will help reduce their stress, because they will each have someone to rely on during this change.

Your newcomer will want to play with him, and before long the young kitten will feel upset about the non-interaction between him and the older cat, he may become very aggressive towards him, making him a prey. You may shorten your senior cat's old and last days more quickly.

       3rd option, integrating your new kitten with a dog. Harmonization will be a similar process to that of adult cats (5 years and older). But you should know that a dog cannot completely replace a cat.
